摘要: Acute pancreatitis is an inflammatory disease characterized by pancreatic tissue edema, acinar cell necrosis, hemorrhage and inflammation of the damaged gland. It believed that injury initiated activation digestive zymogens inside cells, leading finally to autodigestion pancreas. Previous study in our laboratory demonstrated cerulein-induced acute was associated with up-regulation local renin-angiotensin system (RAS) rat Therefore, utilization RAS inhibitors may provide a novel alternative treatment for pancreatitis. By means model pancreatitis, results from present showed intravenous injection saralasin, antagonist angiotensin II receptors, at dose 40 microg/kg 30 min before induction significantly attenuated edema. Results biochemical measurements pretreatment saralasin 20 markedly reduced injury, as evidenced decreased activities alpha-amylase lipase plasma. However, same recipe ramiprilat, specific inhibitor angiotensin-converting enzyme, did not any protective effect against On contrary, ramiprilat enhanced injury. histopathological analysis these further confirmed those obtained analysis. These data indicate administration but could be play role
