摘要: Over the past fifteen years, great strides have been made to understand molecular basis of how heterotrimeric G proteins control activity their downstream targets. However, mechanism by which are activated upstream protein-coupled receptors remains obscure. Recent structural data provides more insight into this process and supports idea that GPCRs, despite small size, sophisticated allosteric machines with multiple signaling outputs.
