摘要: The present study examined the effects of aging on execution a bimanual coordination task in classical phase transition paradigm which patterns (in-phase and anti-phase) movement frequency were manipulated. Two groups adults, so-called young (average age 26 years) old 71 participants, performed both in-phase anti-phase at different frequencies. As we expected variability relative was larger for older participants than younger ones patterns. Moreover, transitions occurred lower frequencies more observed participants. Although no specific hypotheses made about prominent source(s) age-related changes dynamics (i.e., an alteration coupling function and/or increase magnitude noise), our results suggest that these might result from increases (neural) noise to be found (bimanual) action system.
