摘要: — This paper explores two processes, sweeping secular resonance (Ward, 1981) and gas drag (Lecar Franklin, 1997), at work during the dispersal of solar nebula. we have aims not previously considered for mechanisms: (1) to explain likely depletion, by a factor 1000 or so, rocky material in inner belt (2.0 3.3 AU) well into one, that an object already as large even larger than Vesta (r = 250 km)—thought be parent body many meteorites—can inwardly displaced much astronomical unit if nebula times lie close 105 years. For such times, fraction belt's primordial mass can ejected, with most it passing system.
