摘要: In 5 healthy volunteers, we studied the pressure-flow kinetics of oral phase swallowing. The regional profile within cavity during swallowing was recorded, at tongue tip (T1), dorsum (T2), 3 cm from tip, floor, buccal cavity, and between lips swallows water (0–20 ml) ml mashed potato. Two strain gauge (SG) probes, each with two transducer recording sites apart, were used for pressure. Supralingual sublingual pressure recorded concurrently. relationship transit a barium bolus deglutitive phenomena determined by concurrent videoradiography manometry. Lingual SG facing showed most consistent highest pressure: 193±16 (SE) mmHg T1 214±18 T2 dry swallows. Pressures similar However, potato produced 383±30 485±52 that greater than (p<0.01). Pressure transducers hard palate and, to lesser extent, laterally, low inconsistent. Oral-floor greatest oriented upwards averaged 64±2.9 proximally 173±36 distally. At all waves propagated sequentially, toward pharynx. Minimal increases occurred in cavity. Lip squeeze varied 0 90 mmHg.
