摘要: The present invention is directed to a proxy cache preloader. According an embodiment of the invention, Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client intermediary having used provide multiple computing devices with access Internet data in cache. When device needs (i.e., web page), preloader/refresh mechanism employed which uses preloader algorithm. In one embodiment, algorithm checks see if current request for HTTP Uniform Resource Locator (URL). If not, re-loaded into HTTP, determines optimization enabled URL. Otherwise, information retrieval method (e.g., GET) employed.
