摘要: El virus de hepatitis C es un miembro la familia Flavivirus, genero separado: hepacivirus, cuyo unico el C. Es cubierto, con tamano 30 a 60 nm, genoma RNA cadena sencilla 9,600 nucleotidos, 3,000 aminoacidos (rango 3,008 3,037 aminoacidos).1 Una las caracteristicas del su heterogeneidad genetica seis genotipos mayores y mas 100 subtipos. Esta tiene importantes implicaciones clinicas diagnosticas, lo que explica dificultad en desarrollo vacunas, asi como falta respuesta terapeutica. Tiene, ademas, alta propension mutar.2 Se trasmite parenteralmente.
