摘要: Abscisic acid (ABA) is one of the “classical” plant hormones, i.e. discovered at least 50 years ago, that regulates many aspects growth and development. This chapter reviews our current understanding ABA synthesis, metabolism, transport, signal transduction, emphasizing knowledge gained from studies Arabidopsis. A combination genetic, molecular biochemical has identified nearly all enzymes involved in almost 200 loci regulating response, thousands genes regulated by various contexts. Some these regulators are implicated cross-talk with other developmental, environmental or hormonal signals. Specific details signaling mechanisms vary among tissues developmental stages; discussed context effects on seed maturation, germination, seedling growth, vegetative stress responses, stomatal regulation, pathogen flowering, senescence.
