摘要: Abstract Gene sequences highly similar to major histocompatibility complex (Mhc) class I and II genes were recently recognized as mapping a site in the genome of chicken separate from Mhc I, II, B-G (B) complex. The present study was undertaken see whether this Mhc-like designated restriction fragment pattern Y (Rfp-Y) might reside one three clusters cosmid clones contained within molecular map genes, since only two can be assigned B system. To determine third cluster (cluster II/IV) contain Rfp-Y, subclone (18.1) II/IV near polymorphic lectin gene used analyze DNA families which Rfp-Y haplotypes are known segregating. polymorphisms revealed by 18.1 probe found segregate parallel with defining haplotypes, thus establishing location II/IV. Two six five II/IV, so substantial fraction including at least that may expressed, located chromosomal region In further linkage analyses, assort independently more than 400 markers genome.
