摘要: To determine the normal CT appearances of subarcuate fossa and petromastoid canal, 136 temporal bones 68 patients, without injuries or anomalies, were scanned with high-resolution CT. The was visualised in 48.6%. average width 8.3 mm (SD 3.1) depth 1.9 0.6). canal diameter 0.6 mm, 0.1) total length 9.3 1.7). connected mastoid antrum appearance an anteriorly convex curve, 15.6° (SD=12.2) then bent 44° (SD= 16.0) posteriorly. In coronal plane, inclined 2.9° = 6.3) from horizontal plane. It is important to understand these structures diagnose fracture estimate pathological nature intracranial spread mastoiditis.
