摘要: Abstract Neurons within the rostral ventrolateral medulla oblongata project directly to intermediolateral column in thoracolumbar spinal cord. This paper reviews evidence obtained from experiments rabbit regarding anatomical connections and physiological, pharmacological histochemical properties of these cells. The following hypotheses are discussed: (1) an increase firing rate neurons leads a rise arterial pressure due sympathetic vasoconstriction, but does not affect respiratory or other somatomotor activity; (2) bulbospinal pathway originating is essential component central pathways mediating baroreceptor cardiovascular reflexes; (3) receive tonic GABAergic inhibitory inputs, which all origin; (4) many synthesize adrenalize. possible role adrenaline function considered.
