摘要: Thoracic sympathectomy is an important option in the treatment of palmar hyperhidrosis and pain disorders. Earlier surgical procedures were highly invasive with known morbidity, acceptable outcome, established recurrence rates that limitations to considering treatment. Thoracoscopic a minimally procedure allows detailed visualization sympathetic ganglia minimal postoperative morbidity; however, outcome studies this technique have been limited. The authors treated 39 patients 60 thoracoscopic procedures, outcomes small series equivalent previously open techniques; operative moribidity rates, hospital stay, time return normal activity substantially reduced. Complications symptoms also comparable previous reports. Overall patient satisfaction willingness repeat ranged from 66 96% all patients. Patients physicians can consider as treat sympathetically mediated disorders because procedure's reduced morbidity at least comparison other treatments.
