摘要: Forty patients with cystic fibrosis were studied bacteriologically and serologically. PrecipitatingPseudomonas aeruginosa antibodies monitored by crossed-immunoelectrophoresis (CIE) in order to evaluate the possibility of preventing chronic colonization byPseudomonas cycles antimicrobial therapy. Sputum or pharyngeal aspirate serum samples from all analyzed means spread on selective media CIE, respectively. Significant differences number precipitins obtained: noncolonized intermittently colonized had no precipitins, whereas chronically varied 11 44. An increase could be a good marker for initiation therapy agents that are either active againstPseudomonas able inhibit release virulence factors.
