摘要: Abstract Purpose Schooling is associated with a lower risk of Herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) in adolescent girls and young women, but there little understanding the pathways underlying this relationship. Methods We used data from women South Africa enrolled HIV Prevention Trials Network 068 study. tested structural equation model where individual household community education measures were directly indirectly incident HSV-2 through knowledge, future aspirations, age-disparate partnerships, sex last 12 months, condomless sex. Results Community, household, schooling all infection mediated that increased likelihood having Low school attendance ( Conclusions Community interventions may reduce by influencing sex, partner age, aspirations.
