摘要: Fuel such as coal is combusted in a staged combustion device method comprising feeding into first stage of said furnace fuel and gaseous oxidant containing more than 21 vo. % oxygen, preferably 21.8 to 29 vol. at stoichiometric ratio below that which, if the were operated with air only oxidant, would produce same amount Nox, combusting products unburned fuel.
