Reactions of ethoxycarbonylmethylene(triphenyl)phosphorane with some ortho-quinones in the presence of triphenylphosphine, alcohols and acetic anhydride

摘要: The reactions of ortho-quinones 1a, 1c and 1d with ylide 2 in the presence triphenylphosphine afforded ylides 11a, 11c 11d compound 12. 1a refluxing methanol or ethanol gave compounds 16 17 respectively, while 1a–d acetic anhydride yielded acetates 18a, 18b, 18d 19b, 19d, furan derivative 24 25. Compounds 8 9 were also obtained most above reactions. Wittig p-nitrobenzaldehyde coumarins 8a 29 resulted 14a, 14c, 26 30 respectively. transformations 18, 19 into 8, as well 28 studied.
