摘要: To assess the relationship between maternal blue fish intake during pregnancy and n-3 n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid percentual levels in mother newborn infant. Retrospective dietetic investigation at labor regarding blind plasma analysis. Patients participants: 35 mothers their infants were studied Academic tertiary hospital. Mothers classified "blue high intake" group (blue > g/day), intermediate (12-35 g/day) low (< 12 g/day). Eleven acids analysed by means of gas chromatography. Percentual arachidonic lower mothers. Regarding infants, no differences found concerning intake. In "intermediate mothers, a correlation was for fetal following acids: myristic, linoleic linolenic acids, as well sum acids. Although influences acid, it does not play decisive role either or eicosapentaenoic docosahexaenoic levels. Other factors need to be considered such n-6/n-3 metabolic interaction, other nutrient composition especially placenta liver metabolism
