摘要: Abstract In this paper we present experimental observations of reaction rate oscillations during CO oxidation over Pt/γ-Al 2 O 3 at atmospheric pressures. Based on our and prior literature propose a mechanistic scheme, which believe explains in qualitative terms the oscillatory behavior exhibited by catalytic system. This scheme involves Langmuir-Hinshelwood between adsorbed oxygen slow formation reduction step an inactive surface oxide species. Our ideas, furthermore, support existence multiple time scale phenomena for system, idea originally suggested Chang Aluko.
