摘要: We analyze nonlinear effects associated with the spatiotemporal propagation of few-cycle optical pulses in dispersive media, including nonlinearity-induced self-phase modulation, generation higher harmonics, and diffraction. First, we discuss equations governing short diffractive media demonstrate a link between field equation cubic Schr¨ odinger employed for describing evolution pulse envelope. Then, several different regimes competitive scales, study self-action describe, both analytically numerically, self-modulation self-focusing, transformation spectral density harmonic cases weak strong dispersion. Finally, effect beam diffraction on Gaussian pulses.
