摘要: An electromyographic study of the extensor apparatus forearm, using a multichannel electromyograph and bipolar needle electrodes, was carried out on 12 subjects. Recordings were obtained concurrently from medial, lateral long heads triceps brachii anconeus. The investigation confirms that three contract independently during extension medial head anconeus are always active, and, to lesser extent, act as reinforcing auxiliaries. The found be active also resisted but not free loaded pronation supination, contrary commonly held opinion.
