摘要: Comparisons were made between the life prediction formulas of Lundberg and Palmgren, Ioannides Harris, Zaretsky full-scale ball roller bearing data. The effect Weibull slope on was determined. Life factors are proposed to adjust respective normalized statistical distribution each type. Lundberg-Palmgren method resulted in most conservative predictions compared methods which produced statistically similar results. Roller profile can have significant effects edge loading reduce by as much 98 percent. resultant predicted not only depends equation used but assumed, least variation occurring with equation. load-life exponent p 10/3 American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA)/International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards is inconsistent majority bearings designed today.
