摘要: Abstract Zinc sulfide (ZnS) thin films are deposited onto both bare and ITO coated glass by low-cost simple aqueous chemical bath deposition (CBD) method for using it in film solar cells. The optimized growth conditions chosen of ZnS investigating photo-electrochemical (PEC), optical, structural morphological properties as-deposited annealed films. PEC measurements the show n-type electrical conductivity. Optical that have higher transmittance lower absorbance above 700 nm. band gap lies range 3.67–3.68 eV substrates 3.62–3.65 eV conducting substrates. From X-ray diffraction (XRD) study, found to be polycrystalline with (1 1 1) (2 2 0) preferential orientations cubic structure. XRD results average crystallite size is estimated 40.41 nm 50.59 nm on For 43.23 nm 53.32 nm also lattice constant observed 0.5626–0.5671 nm. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) study appeared dense crack-free surfaces regular granular shaped grains. Comparing substrates, not substrate dependent.
