摘要: During the delayed type of hypersensitivity (DTH) reaction in skin, class II transplantation antigens are expressed on keratinocytes. This induction is attributed to action gamma-interferon (IFN-gamma). We have now studied influence antibodies against IFN-gamma DTH-reaction. Lewis rats were sensitized 2,4-dinitro-1-fluorobenzene (DNFB) and challenged 5 days later with DNFB ears. Immediately before challenge each animal one group (n = 16) was given 1 mg mouse monoclonal (MoAb) IFN-gamma, denoted DB-1, intraperitoneally (i.p.), another 15), an irrelevant MoAb a third 11) left untreated. The ear thickness measured micrometer, after 24, 48 72 h. At h all killed, ears cut off, snap frozen stained immunoperoxidase using MoAbs OX 6 17, directed rat antigens. DB-1 treated found larger swelling that statistically significant at time point compared other two groups. Furthermore, animals showed antigen expression Langerhans' cells, but almost none In contrast, groups displayed moderate strong keratinocytes as well cells. It concluded can inhibit during DTH- also enhance local response.
