摘要: Abstract Several polymeric foils (Polyethylene terephthalate and Makrofol KG) with etched ion tracks have been analysed by a new technique – transmission method. 3D geometries of the pores revealed compared reported 2D shapes electron microscopy (TEM). It was found that TEM images correspond to entrance cross sections at surface obtained analysis. The present results show application can be an useful tool for non-destructive examination macrodefects in thin foils, such as partially or fully tracks.
