摘要: Abstract Small traders face risk and uncertainty in carrying out their business activities. On the basis of a large-scale survey on informal sector trade Central Java, Indonesia, economic conditions avoidance strategies are analyzed. In particular, petty have to solve “the dilemma” by extracting themselves from moral obligations sharing redistribution relatives neighbors. Inventory minimization daily replenishment stocks, long-term credit, formalization relations with government agencies among risk-reduction strategies. Policy measures aid endeavor reduce maintain businesses outlined.
