摘要: Shopping centres in Australia are playing an increasingly substantial role providing customers with their daily and weekly requirements. This importance has increased as the advantages of purchasing retail goods shopping become more apparent to a population whose access opportunities determined by private car use. The way which many these retail-oriented destinations have been located Brisbane is explained beneficial trade areas well customer preferences. A number studies identified that distance addition other destination attributes including type outlet (a regional centre from local centre), employment floor area major factors affect shoppers' preferences over choice. study uses discrete choice modelling investigate destination-specific, trip-specific individual-specific characteristics 1,676 trips 194 different reported Statistical Division. Two logit models developed use 10 variables for various trip types 'grocery food', 'clothes', 'household goods' 'personal goods'. result provides better understanding influence choices. results can help inform planners decision makers design sustainable environment.
