摘要: Background. Differential diagnosis and follow-up of small anterior segment tumors constitute a particular challenge because they determine further treatment procedures. The aim this study was to evaluate the efficacy UBM (ultrasound biomicroscopy) AS-OCT (anterior optical coherent tomography) in distinguishing different types lesions. Methods. It retrospective, noncomparative case series 89 patients with suspicion tumor referred Ophthalmology Clinic, Medical University Bialystok, Poland, between 2016 2020. used assess morphology including height, location, internal external features. In cases which did not provide enough data, images were analyzed. data on demographics, best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), intraocular pressure (IOP), rate complications also collected. Patients followed up from 1 48 months. Results. mean observation period 26.61 ± 16.13 Among patients, there 62 women 27 men at age 55.59 ± 19.48 (range: 20 years.) cysts (41%), solid iris (37.1%), ciliary body (7.9%), peripheral synechiae (PAS 3.4%), corneal (4.5%), others (5.6%). younger than ( ). Women had cyst as well more frequently men, but less often horizontal size positively correlated patients’ (rs = 0.38 ) negatively (rs = −0.42 During 4 years diagnosis, only 2.2% lesions exhibited growth (growth 0.02 mm per year). 15 visualization satisfactory (mostly nevi), helpful 13 patients. Conclusions. Both are effective methods detection eye segment, some cases, adds additional value diagnosis. Many can be managed conservatively demonstrate during period.
