摘要: Background and aim The clinical significance of incidental pancreatic cystic lesions (PCLs) remains unclear in those that are not accompanied by worrisome features or high-risk stigmata. We aimed to investigate the natural course PCLs without any risk examine factors associated with their progression. Methods conducted a retrospective cohort study 427 patients PCLs, which were incidentally detected computed tomography between January 2003 December 2012. Results Ninety-four (22.0%) had asymptomatic showed after median surveillance period 5.3 years; approximately 27.7% size changes first 5 years, while remaining 72.3% years. cumulative rate initial cyst high body mass index. Conclusions One-fifth significantly increased long-term follow-up period, obesity. mostly although malignancy low, it still concern.
