摘要: The ordered structure of the V8N subnitride was studied by X-rays, electron diffraction and microscopy. exists in two different modifications (α′ α″). vanadium sublattice both phases is pseudo-tetragonal, reality triclinic, with lattice parameters: αo = bo 3.114 A, co 2.994 βo 90.5o ± 0.1o, γo 90o. proposed unit cell α′-V8N has dimensions: a 2√2 ao, c 2co corresponds to V32N4. Doublets nitrogen atoms occupy sets octahedral cavities whose shortest axes are aligned along x y directions an fashion. α″-V8N phase periodically twinned modification α′-V8N, twin plane being (001) type. V8O suboxide same as α″-V8N, parameters being: ao 3.11 90.3o
