摘要: The adsorption of metals from aqueous solutions Pb2+, Zn2+ and Mg2+ on naturally occurring pyrolusite have been studied. chemical stability the has determined in NaOH, H2SO4, HNO3, HCl, NaCl NK4Cl various concentrations. Adsorption metal ions followed order Pb2+>Zn2+>Cd2+. maximum Pb2+ (100%) occurred at pH 7. relation between amount adsorbed per unit weight concentration equilibrium follows Freundlich isotherm. efficiency demonstrated by removing lead synthetic waste water. 100% 96% removal achieved water containing 5 mg l−1 120 respectively results these studies suggest that might provide an economical method for industrial
