摘要: Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) is a heterodimer composed of HIF-1α and HIF-1β subunits that present in all metazoan species. The expression activity the subunit are highly regulated, most notably by O 2 -dependent hydroxylation events involving prolyl asparaginyl residues. HIF-1 binds to hypoxia response elements activates transcription target genes. Over 200 genes encoding proteins have been identified; among these factors (including both sequence-specific DNA-binding chromatin-modifying proteins), which lead secondary transcriptional regulatory cascades. Genes microRNAs also regulated HIF-1, leading indirect effects on messenger RNA stability protein translation. has shown interact with several other function as coactivator or corepressor. mediates adaptive responses systemic, such increased erythropoiesis, well cell autonomous, regulation balance between glycolytic oxidative metabolism.
