摘要: The design of the joints in a power transformer core has marked influence on efficiency as whole. Two experimental cores have been built such that lengths their 45° mitered overlaps could be varied from 0 to 2.0 cm. larger core, with 1.0 m limbs, was used for investigating flux and loss variations second, smaller study how results might affected by changes dimensions. For measured two ways range overlaps: first, using localized technique, then measuring total precision wattmeter. In both cases, minimum found when an overlap 0.5 length again found, but cm overlap. A change over 20% used, optimum independent density T 1.8 T. special distribution determined array search coils. enables qualitative explanation occurrence loss.
