摘要: We examined the effect of physical training on cardiopulmonary function in 21 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and compared results similar observations eight untrained patients. The consisted daily walking a treadmill at increasing speeds grades other graded exercises. Evaluation function, including spirometric studies, lung volumes, arterial blood gas levels, showed no significant change after training. Hemodynamic functions, heart rate, cardiac index, stroke vascular resistance, arteriovenous oxygen content difference, were similarly unchanged comparable submaximal loads. Pulmonary wedge pressure increased treated group rest during exercise, but this may be related to changes respiratory mechanics. Consumption minute ventilation decreased suggesting improved neuromuscular coordination efficiency treadmill. Total work performed significantly trained group. This increase was unexplained by physiologic thought due part motivation. conclude that improvement capacity for exercise following four weeks is not associated exercise.
