摘要: Gliomas are the most common form of malignant tumour in central nervous system. However, molecular mechanism tumorigenesis and progression gliomas remains unclear. In this study, we used GEO database to identify genes differentially expressed predict prognosis glioma. We observed that ASPM mRNA was increased obviously glioma tissue, higher expression predicted worse disease prognosis. highly cell lines U87-MG U251, knockdown these cells significantly repressed proliferation, migration invasion ability induced G0/G1 phase arrest. addition, down-regulation suppressed growth nude mice. Five potential binding sites for transcription factor FoxM1 were promoter. overexpression promoted proliferation cells, which abolished by ablation. ChIP dual-luciferase reporter analysis confirmed bound promoter at -236 -230 bp -1354 -1348 activated directly. Collectively, our results demonstrated first time aberrant mediated transcriptional regulation promotes properties cells.
