摘要: The richness and spatial distribution of aquatic macroinvertebrates were studied in streams from a cerrado region, Assis, State Sao Paulo, with the purpose verifying effect anthropic action on fauna. collections took place at headwaters Ribeirao Agua do Cervo (the main water supplier city Assis). Nine collection stations established which ten standardized pebble packages placed (equivalent volume, 300 cm3 each). After twenty-five days exposure, removed stream. associated to each identified. results showed smaller most damaged station. There was not significant relation between physicochemical factors intensity significantly related
