摘要: The gas phase hydrogenation of acrolein over supported silver catalysts has been investigated with a focus on the influence support acidity. Acidity varied by preparing silica/alumina supports varying SiO2/Al2O3 ratio. After catalytic experiments Ag exhibit similar particle sizes, as revealed TEM (transmission electron microscopy). acidity samples was estimated using TPD adsorbed ammonia which gives total samples, furthermore IR pyridine to identify Bronsted and Lewis No found, showed clear dependence composition. It is shown that high amount strong acid sites cause low conversion selectivity allyl alcohol. interaction or effects metal–support perimeter are discussed possible reasons for this behaviour.
