摘要: This study investigates changes in surface air temperature (SAT), hydrology and the thermohaline circulation due to radiative forcing of anthropogenic greenhouse gases direct (DRF) sulfate aerosols GFDL coupled ocean-atmosphere model. Three 300-year model integrations are performed with increasing gas concentrations only, aerosol only concentrations. A control integration is also keeping carbon dioxide fixed. The global annual mean SAT change when both included better agreement observations than alone included. When from a that includes increases added sulfate, resulting approximately equal throughout period. Similar results found for precipitation geographical distribution indicating climate response linearly additive two types considered here. Changes mid-continental summer dryness briefly discussed.
