摘要: This article focuses on the distinctive nature of Chinese FDI in Africa, specifically copper mining value chains Zambia and local sourcing linkages. In order to secure supply, China has become a substantial foreign investor Zambian extractive sector acquiring control over mines, smelters processing industries. The expectation is that mines would operate as enclave operations concerned only with securing raw materials for its industrial infrastructural needs, promoting exports from companies. this article, we analyse compare Northern South African companies terms manner which their supply operate. We do by examining role linkages between activities suppliers access, delineation critical success factors upgrading strategies.
