摘要: The present paper introduces a numerical simulation aided, experimental method for the measurement of Young's modulus trabecular substance in human mandible. Compression tests were performed on fresh cadaveric samples containing bone covered with cortical layer, thus avoiding destruction caused by sterilization, preservation, and storage underestimation stiffness resulting from individual failure trabeculae cut surfaces. elastic spongiosa was determined each compression test using specimen specific finite element model sample. received mandibular values ranged 6.9 to 199.5 MPa.
