摘要: Abstract In this paper the reverse flow in a duct (diameter D ) with an obstruction at front (which is disc), investigated using PIV. The gap g between and entry to systematically varied it found that maximum occurs / value of 0.5. stagnant around 1.25 forward for values 1.5 above. vortex formation length behind disc smaller than plate variation magnitude axisymmetrical circular two-dimensional channel differs considerably. phenomena can be explained by low pressure obstruction.
