摘要: In this study, I test a model of competing theoretical explanations Asian American attitudes toward immigration by studying the effects acculturation, group consciousness and political commonality with other groups, contextual factors. Using 2018 Civic Engagement Political Participation Survey, Americans’ policy preferences on Syrian refugees, Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Muslim travel ban, border wall are examined. Multinomial logistic regression analyses reveal that acculturation explains positive among Americans whereas factors such as identity, racial perceived mix neighborhoods have limited mixed influence attitudes. As one very few studies immigrants’ policies, study contributes to our better understanding how fastest-growing immigrant like determine their policies target immigrants.
