摘要: The abundances of, and the total individual cross sections for, primary products (positive ions, neutral species, negative ions) resulting from elementary reactions induced by absorption of energy CH4 ionizing radiation (100‐eV electrons) have been measured. This was accomplished with dual electron beam section our wide‐range radiolysis source. results show that positive ions free radicals are produced in nearly equal abundances, 45% 55%, respectively. On other hand, less abundant about four orders magnitude. for ionization (σI) 100‐eV electrons is 3.8×10−16 cm2 formation species (σN) 4.7×10−16 cm2. To independently test reliability electron‐beam ion source, Ar were measured comparison published values. Our value 3.24× 10−16 satisfactory agreement those reported workers, whose values range (2.8 to 3.6)×10−16
