摘要: The Delft Shoulder and Elbow Model (DSEM), a large-scale musculoskeletal model, allows for estimation of individual muscle joint reaction forces in the shoulder elbow complex. Although model has been qualitatively verified previously using EMG signals, quantitative validation not yet feasible. In this paper we report on DSEM by comparing GH-joint contact estimated with in-vivo measured recently developed instrumented endoprosthesis, capable measuring glenohumeral (GH) [1]. To validate two patients hemi-arthroplasty were measured. measurement process included collection motion data as well forces. Segment angles used inputs to estimate recorded Range Motion (RoM) force tasks compared based magnitude resultant results show that follows abduction anteflexion motions up 80 50 degrees arm elevations, respectively, while they different behaviors above 90 (decrease is but increase measured). underestimates peak RoM (up 38% 64% motion), overestimates 90%) most directions performing tasks.
