摘要: Secretion of growth hormone (GH) is excessive in acromegaly, but also a number other pathological states such as anorexia nervosa, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM), liver cirrhosis, depression, renal failure and GH-insensitivity syndrome. Abnormalities the neuroendocrine control GH secretion and/or state insensitivity to contribute hypersecretion these states, with possible exception which appears be primary pituitary disease. may occur neonates or adolescents tall stature, thus reflecting particular physiological paraphysiological conditions. In cohort brain neurotransmitters, catecholamines acetylcholine reportedly play major role neurosecretory GH-releasing (GHRH) somatostatin (SS)-producing neurons, hence secretion.
