摘要: Morphology switching by an external stimulus creates the possibility to detect and control activity functionality of bio-molecules. Unconjugated bilirubin (UCB), a waste product resulting from heme catabolism, is highly sensitive towards blue light induced configurational conversion (4Z,15Z) (4Z,15E)-bilirubin. UCB has distinct elongated nanostructure which readily photoswitchable spherical (470 nm) irradiation. Herein, morphology alteration was nicely correlated with photoisomerisation UCB, using different microscopic spectroscopic techniques. To restrict other photo-incidents during phototreatment on suitable time frame calibrated monitoring absorption, HPLC, lifetime distribution 1H NMR studies. Furthermore, help this morphological transition as marker, early stage also been triggered two-photon irradiation (940 nm).
