摘要: Flowering time, vernalization requirement, photoperiod sensitivity and low temperature tolerance are key traits in the Triticeae. We characterized a set of isogenic genetic stocks-representing single pairwise substitutions spring alleles at VRN-H1, VRN-H2 VRN-H3 loci winter barley background-at structural, functional phenotypic levels. High density mapping with reference to genome sequence confirmed that all cases target VRN were present near lines (NILs) allowed estimates introgression size (at physical levels) gene content. Expression data corroborated structural results. The latter substitution allele any is sufficient eliminate requirement. There was no significant change VRN-H2, but there losses cold VRN-H1 VRN-H3. Reductions ascribed an accelerated transition from vegetative reproductive state. NILs will be rich resource for understanding genetics vernalization, other encoded/regulated by genes within introgressed intervals.
