摘要: A method and apparatus which determines that a vehicle operator is in physical possession of given mobile telecommunications device the moving at speed greater than threshold (which may be zero), thereby restricts use communications device. Illustratively, restricted from placing receiving calls, sending text messages. It determined based on near field communication (NFC) technology whereby Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) transceiver attached to or embedded steering wheel driver's seat vehicle. The vehicle's using Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver an Assisted GPS (A-GPS) technique, data by itself communicated thereby.
