摘要: Background and Objectives Fractional ablation offers the potential benefits of full-surface ablative skin resurfacing while minimizing adverse effects. The purpose this study was to evaluate safety, damage profile, efficacy erbium fractional lasers. Materials Methods Histology from animal human as well clinical evaluations were conducted with YAG (2,940 nm) YSGG (2,790 lasers varying pulse width, microbeam (µb) energy, number passes, stacking pulses. Results Single-pulse treatment parameters 1 12 mJ per 50–70 µm diameter 0.25–5 milliseconds widths produced microcolumns border coagulation up 100 width 450 depth. Stacking pulses generated deeper microcolumns. Clinical observations in vivo histology demonstrate rapid re-epithelization limited side Facial treatments performed periorbital perioral areas using 1–8 passes single stacked pulses. Treatments well-tolerated subjects could resume their normal routine 4 days. A statistically significant reduction wrinkle scores at 3 months observed for both wrinkles blinded grading. For four or more, over 90% had ≥1 score (0–9 scale) 42% ≥2. wrinkles, 50% substantial improvements (≥2). Conclusion The findings that micro-fractional 2,790 2,940 nm resulted safe effective minimal patient downtime. depth ablated extent surrounding can be controlled used design new procedures targeted specific indications such moderate severe rhytides photodamaged skin.
