Prevention of sheep worrying in the UK: Rethinking the approach

摘要: Sheep worrying is a continuing concern in the UK and despite several campaigns, incidence of appears to be increasing. Worrying has direct impact on sheep welfare (e.g. injury many cases death) farmer economic emotional). To highlight recent cases, authors reviewed 20 news articles directly recording incidents between January July 2016 range variables related worrying, including number deaths injuries. More in-depth research needed assess how such affect farming UK, identify best ways informing public risks determine efficacy potential prevention methods.
