摘要: Although glioblastoma (GBM) has always been recognized as a heterogeneous tumor, the advent of largescale molecular analysis enabled robust categorization this malignancy into several specific subgroups. Among subtypes designated by expression profiling, mesenchymal tumors have associated with an inflammatory microenvironment, increased angiogenesis, and resistance to therapy. Nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) is ubiquitous transcription factor that plays prominent role in mediating many central features differentiation. This review summarizes mechanisms which NF-κB proteins their co-regulating partners induce transcriptional network underlies phenotype. Moreover, both intrinsic changes within GBM cells microenvironmental factors modify overall response are detailed.
